LANGKAWI – Rebak Island Resort & Marina Langkawi, in collaboration with Langkawi UNESCO Global Geopark, is delighted to announce the resounding success of the 117th Idaman Geosite Clean Up at Rebak’s Red Rock Beach.

Preserving Pristine Beauty

Bringing together over 60 passionate participants, including representatives from various agencies, NGOs, hotel guests, and Rebak Marina residents, this event was dedicated to preserving the pristine beauty of Red Rock Beach, a treasured heritage geosite.

A Beach of Vibrant Splendor

Nestled amidst the gentle embrace of the Andaman Sea, Red Rock Beach entices with its unique bed of vibrant red rocks adorning sandy shores. Participants embarked on a marvelous 2-kilometer hike before arriving at this awe-inspiring destination, ready to engage in the clean-up activities.

A Collective Commitment to Conservation

Through their unwavering commitment, an impressive 360 kg of plastic waste and marine debris were meticulously collected from the beach. E-Idaman Sdn. Bhd. proudly received this significant contribution, ensuring responsible recycling and disposal. This collective effort underscores our deep dedication to preserving the natural beauty of our pristine coastline and waters.
